Our
Dri Lightning® kit will pay for itself inside the first
year of use when testing multiple bucket liners.
The industry standard for testing is yearly but many manufacturers
recommend testing twice a year for better quality control.
Testing companies charge on average $125.00 per liner test. Dri Lightning® brings savings to you simply by its use and method of process. In the time it takes to set up a water tank and fill it, you can have completed at least 6 dry method tests. You will have eliminated the need to use 600+ gallons of water at your customer site (which the customer pays for) or transporting that water needed, 600+ gallons, to the testing site adding the benefit of water conservation. We eliminate the man hours used setting up and breaking down the tank process. Our method also minimizes the possibility of arcing, flashover and shock since you will no longer need conductive liquid, wet towels or sponges associated with wet testing (an added benefit keeping workers compensation claims low).
We have also done away with the sloppy process of filling
the bucket liner with water once in the tank and then emptying it when
testing is completed. Our
method has also done away with the need to dispose of the now “dirty” water
that was used in the antiquated water process.
By dirty we mean any matter that has been left inside or dried on
the outside of the liner. Dirt,
grease, oils, soot and other environmental pollution will no longer be
dumped into the ground or storm sewer drains.
The Dri Lightning®
kit is carried in a large duffel bag and your conductive sock set is carried
in a brief bag eliminating the need to transport tanks thus cutting down on
fuel costs and additional personnel to handle getting the bucket liners in
and out of the water tank.
(This also eliminates the possibility of injury to persons lifting the
liners in and out of the tanks especially when filled with water, saving in
possible workers compensation claims due to back injury.)
No more cable test lead rigging needed.
No environmental impact because the conductive
sock sets is recyclable.
Safety
Always proceed with caution when using the Dri Lightning®
Testing Kit. Industry standards
require that you have been trained to use any kit when testing.
The conductive cloth used for the Dri Lightning®
sock sets is not a “hazardous waste” as that term is defined in 40 CFR 261,
“Identification and Listing of Hazardous Waste”.
Dispose of waste by recovery of metals, incineration, sanitary
landfill or other methods in accordance with all applicable local, state and
federal laws and regulations.
